A Guide: Types of Plywood available in the market with the purpose

Plywood is a must required building material and these days interior designers are giving priority to it because of its multiple uses. Plywood is made up of multiple thin layers of wood veneer and sticks together with strong adhesive. It is available in the market in different characteristics, sizes and types. So it is important to know the types, sizes and different purposes of plywood so that you can purchase the right plywood according to your purpose.     

Structural Plywood

This type of plywood is needed where strength and durability are required like building frames, roofs, and flooring systems. In structural plywood, the highest quality of wood veneers are used and glued with strong adhesive so that can bear heavy load, different seasons impact and stress.   

Exterior Plywood

To keep the safe from moisture, different weather conditions and fungal decay the exterior plywood is made up of unique kinds of chemicals. It enhances its resistance ability and keeps safe in different odd conditions so that can be used in exterior projects.   

Marine Plywood

Marine Plywood is a special type of plywood and is specially made up for things which remain in contact with water most of the time like boats. Interior Plywood

Flexible Plywood

Interior designers like this plywood very much because of its flexible nature. This is the perfect material where you need to design curved or rounded surfaces in furniture making, cabinetry, and architectural design.

Aircraft Plywood

Few know about aircraft Plywood which is super lightweight and made up of highly-strong and quality materials. it is used in aircraft construction and fulfil the aviation standards for strength, durability, and weight.
